The Research Review Journal of Cultural Heritage and Traditions (RRJCHT) follows a Double-Blind Peer Review process to ensure fairness, objectivity, and academic integrity in evaluating submitted manuscripts. In this system, the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the review process.

1. Submission and Initial Screening

All submitted manuscripts are first evaluated by the editorial office to ensure alignment with the journal’s scope, formatting guidelines, and basic quality standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the author before peer review.

2. Anonymization

Authors are required to remove all identifying information from the manuscript. The editorial team further verifies anonymization before forwarding the manuscript to reviewers.

3. Reviewer Selection

Qualified reviewers are selected based on their subject expertise, research experience, and academic credentials relevant to the manuscript’s topic, including areas such as Cultural Heritage, Traditions, Indian Knowledge Systems, Arts, History, and related interdisciplinary studies.

4. Review Evaluation

  • Originality and contribution to the field
  • Research design and methodology
  • Clarity and organization
  • Relevance to Cultural Heritage, Traditions, and allied disciplines
  • Ethical standards and academic rigor

5. Reviewer Recommendations

  • Accept
  • Minor Revision
  • Major Revision
  • Reject

6. Editorial Decision and Communication

Based on reviewers’ reports, the editorial team makes a decision. The decision and anonymized reviewer comments are communicated to the author.

7. Revision and Re-evaluation

If revisions are required, authors must submit a revised manuscript along with a response to reviewers’ comments. Revised manuscripts may be sent for further review if necessary.

8. Final Decision

The final publication decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with the editorial board where required.

9. Ethics and Confidentiality

  • Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest and maintain strict confidentiality throughout the review process.
  • Manuscripts and reviewer comments must not be shared or disclosed.

10. Continuous Improvement

RRJCHT encourages constructive feedback from authors and reviewers to strengthen transparency, fairness, and the overall quality of the peer review system.
